Children’s author Cornelia Funke visits HSW

Our new trustee Penny Wigram surprised us all with an introduction to and a visit from the renowned children’s author Cornelia Funke – creator of the internationally best-selling Ink Heart series. Cornelia’s publishers had sent us a collection of her books to distribute to our families, which Cornelia not only signed but also individually illustrated on the day! She was an incredibly warm and generous visitor, who left us all with smiles on our faces for days. A big thank you to Penny, Cornelia and her publishers.
