There is something called the Matthew Affect (Stanovitch 1986) “Unto everyone that hath shall be given and he shall have abundance, but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath” At this moment in time, by which I mean the credit crunch and the affect that it is having on the families we support, volunteers, our own lives, colleagues in other services, friends and family, it came to mind.
