On 7th October, we celebrated our 10th anniversary with a fantastic reception at the House of Lords. We were fortunate to be hosted by Baroness Harris of Richmond who made us all feel really welcome. Guests enjoyed drinks and canapés on the terrace, a tour of Parliament, and speeches by our Scheme Manager Christa, as well as volunteer Joy Simpson and Julie Mary Henry who both spoke movingly about their experiences of Home-Start Westminster. Our thanks go to everyone who helped to make this such a memorable event! Please click on the link above to see photos…

We held our AGM on September 14th and reported that in 2009/10 we made a difference to:
156 Westminster families who we supported with a volunteer
399 children in those families
84 volunteers who again showed great commitment and understanding
The City of Westminster funded 25% of our work, 75% was from individual donors and charitable foundations. Thank you for helping us to make a difference to so many lives.
