Maximising Income for Families
Home-start Westminster is very pleased to be a partner in a project with Turn2us and the Child Poverty Action Group to deliver a new service to help families in need claim money available to them. A group of our volunteers tested the Turn2us Benefit Checker and Grants search programme and we will be training all our volunteers to use this e-learning resource to enable them to offer personalised, practical help to the families they support.
Volunteer training
We are currently running our first training course of the new year and once again we have an interested, committed and inspiring group who will go on to be valuable volunteers.
