This week we had the privilege of celebrating our 25th Year of supporting families with an event at the House of Lords, hosted by our inspirational patron, Baroness Floella Benjamin.
Baroness Benjamin highlighted the importance of our work with children and families in ensuring every child has the best possible start in life and the evening was filled with the heartfelt voices of families who have accessed our support in recent years. Guests heard from families who had previously been supported by our volunteer befrienders and therapists and were treated to the premier of our 25th Year Film, produced by students from the University of Westminster, and music from musicians from the Royal College of Music.
It was a wonderfully joyous evening, attended by guests including Georgina, Duchess of Norfolk who has supported the charity since 2015, Felicity Buchan MP for Kensington, Lord Mayor Hamza Taouzzale of Westminster, Lord Mayor Emma Apthorp of Hammersmith & Fulham, Deputy Mayor Janet Evans of Kensington & Chelsea, Home-Start WKCHF volunteers, and a wide range of representatives from partner organisations across the three boroughs in which we work.
Thank you to all our guests for joining us to celebrate!
