Darin’s Volunteer Journey
I finished my Prep-course training in March 2023 and have been working with Home-Start families since September 2023. I was motivated to join Home-Start when my children started school full time, so I wanted to start “working” again and I knew I wanted to work with other families. I love every session and seeing how the children are growing and changing. Seeing their smiles when they see me is so precious. My experience so far has re-emphasised the need listen and to meet people where they are.
